At Simply Silhouettes we create custom silhouette home decor, gift and wedding items to help you preserve priceless memories. Since 2006, we've been pioneers in the digital creation of silhouettes, enabling us to capture a higher level of detail than the traditional handcut method and helping to put a modern twist on this old fashioned craft. Each silhouette we make is meticulously created by hand in our home design studio with a combination of classic styling, handcrafted warmth, and not least, a touch of elegant whimsy.  Our wish is to help you create unique and meaningful gifts to give or timeless keepsakes for you to treasure and pass on to future generations. From the husband who surprises his wife with a portrait of their baby on her first Mother's Day to the couple creating a wedding cake topper hand drawn from a photo of their proposal, we know that each silhouette captures a memory.

It started with a silhouette of our niece that we made years ago and when her dad started sending us photos of his neighbors to make silhouettes of, we knew we were on to something.

We're a couple with different strengths and talents, but together we make a great team. We met while working at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, quickly fell in love, were married within months, and have been collaborating ever since. Patrick is a formally trained fine artist, illustrator and designer. His work has been shown in numerous galleries and museums, and his pieces are included in many private collections. After a career in retail and marketing, and a lifetime of being crafty, Angela found herself at a crossroads after the birth of their first child. She retired from corporate life and began a home-based business making personalized keepsakes. Soon she had moved from her dining room studio to working with the most exclusive baby boutiques in the Twin Cities. Along with our 2 kids and dog, we make our home in the Pacific Northwest.

We personally work with each customer to help create the perfect keepsake, crafting each one by hand before sending it off. Our mission from the start has been to preserve what's priceless.
